Precautions for commissioning of belt filter presses During operation, belt filter presses typically require more careful protection. Commissioning before use is a necessary operational procedure that can significantly prevent damage to the belt filter press.
1. The legs, columns, or channels of the conveyor are firmly fixed to the ground with chemical anchor bolts.
2. All mounting bolts of various components on the frame should be fully tightened. Each roller should roll flexibly. The axial lines of the roller, drive drum, and deflection drum should be aligned with the longitudinal centerline of the frame.
3. The spiral tensioning stroke is 1% to 1.5% of the machine's length.
4. The pull-cord switch device is installed on one side of the conveyor, with the two switches connected by a plastic-coated steel wire rope, which is moderately tight.
5. The belt deviation switch devices are installed on both sides of the head and tail of the conveyor, in pairs. The vertical roller of the switch is perpendicular to the edge of the conveyor belt, ensuring that the belt edge is located at 1/3 of the height of the vertical roller. The spacing between the vertical roller and the edge of the conveyor belt is 50-70mm.
6. The rubber scrapers of each sweeper and guide chute should be in full contact with the conveyor belt. Otherwise, adjust the mounting bolts of the sweeper and guide chute to ensure the scraper is in contact with the conveyor belt.
7. After ensuring that the device is correct, conduct a no-load trial run. The duration of the trial run should be no less than 2 hours. During the trial run, perform the following checks: (1) Each roller should touch the conveyor belt and roll flexibly.
(2) There is no sign of oil leakage at any smooth areas.
(3) All fasteners are not loose.
(4) The temperature rise of the bearing should not exceed 40°C, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 80°C.
(5) During normal operation, the conveyor should operate smoothly, without any deviation or abnormal noise.
