1. The thickness of the filter plate of the box type filter press is about 60-85mm, and each filter plate is square. Then, the two sides of the filter plate are reduced by about 40mm and concave inward. The depth of the depression generally reaches about 25mm, which is not enough to reach the protrusion of about 8mm in height. It can be circular or strip-shaped. This function is to ensure good contact between the filter plate of the filter press and the filter cake produced during the re filtration process, thereby supporting the function of the filter cake.

2. The box filter press is located in the middle of the filter plate, and a hole is also opened, which is the feeding pipeline, usually with a diameter of 100mm. And below or around the depression, there are drainage holes connected to drainage pipes to discharge the filtered liquid out of the equipment. Both sides are the same. Between the filter plate of the filter press and the filter cloth of the filter press, usually two filter cloths are used as one set, connected by a filter cloth cylinder with a smaller hole in the middle than the filter plate, so as to effectively include the filter plate of the filter press.
The filter plate structure of the box type filter press has two differences: ordinary filter plate and frame filter plate. The border filter plate is formed by connecting the square half strips used to embed the filter plate. These two types of filter plates are arranged alternately to form the filter chamber of the plate frame filter press.
